Oh how I wish Lnkr would be available for Joomla 3.x. There is nothing like Lnkr available for Joomla 3.

I just installed Linkr and think it is great. Just one problem, none of my files or articles are listed. How do I set up Linkr initially to find my content? Help soon please...

I have a problem with linkr in my site:
in the editor my linkr box shows contacts and menus tree but not articles?
what should I do?

Hello,

i have a big problem. When i click to Linkr Button and the windows to choose the Link opend, then i click to "Article" and nothing happend! I see only "Use the links above to link to some content" nothing more :-( And at this and last version i have enabled the plugins but see the the frontpage only "{linkr:related;keywords:MyKEWORD;limit:5;title:Related+Articles}"

I am having some issues getting linkr to work. I installed version 2.3.8 and installed the mootools upgrade-although I did not ever have a mootools plugin before.
However when I click on the linkr button to link in an article when I click on file or on articles nothing happens. I am using Firefox as my web browser.

Hello everybody,

I just want to say something about the need for Linkr in Joomla 1.7. Mostly I use Linkr for creating links to pdf-files. I'm using Jsmallfib to manage pdf-files, which is another really great component (plugin), but with the Joomla editors it's difficult to link to a pdf-file, especially outside the Joomla-root.That is where Linkr comes in because it will do the job of linking to a pdf-file perfectly. I don't know any other component (plugin) which can do the same.

In other articles I read that people who need to create a link to a pdf-file most of the times do a copy-paste of the url that comes up after opening the file. That doesn't sound very user-friendly. Some of my users (authors) know how to create an article with some text but that's all...

To me Linkr is vital as there is no alternative and it's working wonderful. Hopefully they will continue developing this plugin for newer Joomla releases!

Have you enabled the MooTools plugin?
It had to be disabled in the past for Linkr to work, but not anymore. As @Algore said, see the forums: http://j.l33p.com/forums/to...

I can't link articles, because the link "Articles" on the component doesn't work. When i click on it, nothing happens ... v2.3.8.

New version 2.3.8 does NOT show articles when you try to select one. Will try to find old 2.3.7 version, which has worked for me.

Installed 2.3.8 I get Fatal error: Call to a member function getBrowser() on a non-object in /usr/www/users/vanwew/plugins/editors-xtd/linkr_button.php on line 76
when button is active. How do I fix this?

I have uninstalled, and reinstalled (2.3.8) 3 times now and I still cannot link to articles - is there a solution? It is working perfectly on another of my websites but not on the two that I have just built. Same Joomla version and same editor and same linkr???

Installed Linkr 2.3.8: Linkr button shows up, but link to File and Article do not work (Menu and Contact both work fine). Tried both IE9 and Firefox 4. Joomla 1.5.23
